Roshan Digital Accounts Received $1.5 Billion Inflows in Last 10 Months

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan tweeted about his satisfaction with the performance of the Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs).

He said that RDAs have achieved more milestones and that the inflows of deposits through them crossed the $1.5 billion mark. He also added that the investment in Naya Pakistan certificates has also surpassed $1 billion.

The PM posted an index of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data showing cumulative inflows of deposit in the RDAs, and termed it ‘good news’.

The government launched RDA in September 2020. Through this account, NRPs have been fully integrated with Pakistan’s banking and payments system.
