The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) had cut the supply to the CNG stations and industrial segments in the province because of the increasing shortage of gas all over the country. The shortage was supposed to last a few days but the accumulation of gas has lowered more than usual across the national supply grid to around 177 mmcfd.

The SSGC is yet to undertake any full-scale measures to resolve the situation, and the delay is causing an acute shortage in the system as well as low pressure.
