The Z Flip 2 is expected to bring a slightly bigger outer screen this time around. The original Z Flip only had a small strip, but this one will have a 1.9-inch screen that can fit two lines of text and more. The inner screen will remain at 6.7-inches, but it will be more durable than before with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG).

We can also see a dual-camera setup on the back with larger sensors than before, which aligns with previous leaks. The battery capacity is expected to be the same as before at 3,273 mAh with support for 15W wired charging and 9W wireless charging. The device’s main chipset is still unclear, but it will likely be a flagship-grade SoC.

Some rumors have even hinted at an IP67 rating, which would only be possible with a redesigned hinge. We are yet to see details on that matter.

Additionally, the Z Flip 2 and Z Fold 3 are also expected to cost 20% lower than before at launch. The original Z Flip was priced at $1400 at launch but now it only costs $600 in the US.
