Sindh High Court Website Hacked by Indian Hackers

The official website of the Sindh High Court (SHC) was briefly hacked by Indian hackers on Sunday before it was recovered on Monday morning.

The website (www.sindhhighcourt.gov.pk) was hacked and defaced by hackers that go by the name “Indian Cyber Troops.”

The Registrar of the SHC refused the request for comment and did not take a call. This is not the first time that a Pakistani institution’s website has been compromised.

In January this year, the University of Swabi’s website was hacked by Indian hackers, ICREW Hackers.

Earlier in November last year, the website of the Sindh Investment Department (sindhinvestment.gos.pk) had been hacked by anonymous individuals.

The hacker demanded the government shut down schools amid the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Student lives are no joke! Shut the schools down now. Students are the real assets of a country, don’t destroy your assets.” the warning message displayed on the SID website read.
