Nokia to Launch a Flagship Phone in November: Leak

It’s been a while since we saw a flagship phone from HMD Global. The Nokia Pureview was launched in February last year and it was expected to be followed up by the Nokia 9.1, 9.2, and the 9.3 PureView, but those phones ended up being canceled.

However, the wait may finally be over since HMD China’s Product Manager, Zhang Yucheng, has hinted at an upcoming 5G flagship phone. This phone is expected to launch on Singles’ Day in China, which is November 11.

The PM has not shared any details about this upcoming flagship and previous leaks do not offer much information either. However, we do know that it will not follow Nokia’s previous naming scheme (Nokia 9.3) since the brand has moved past that.

The Nokia X50 has been making rounds in the rumor mill lately. The phone is expected to bring much more powerful specs than anything HMD has launched lately, but not quite flagship level.

It is rumored to bring a 6.5” 1440p+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6,000 mAh battery. The main chipset will be the Snapdragon 775 and the primary shooter will be a 108MP sensor.

We are probably months away from seeing solid rumors or teasers, so stay tuned.
