The Redmi 9 is due to get a successor soon and it has just been certified by the FCC. Redmi 10’s FCC listing reveals a number of specifications such as Dual-SIM support, MIUI 12.5 out of the box, and multiple memory trims including 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.

There is no information on camera configuration, but multiple reports in the past have pointed to a 50MP camera. Rumor has it that the development started with a Sony camera sensor, but ended with a Samsung one, the ISOCELL JN1 in particular.

The ISOCELL JN1 is built on the ISOCELL 2.0 technology and is sized at 1/2.76” with 0.64 µm pixels. It features Tetrapixel binning (4-in-1), Double Super Phase Detection, real-time HDR, and improved autofocus thanks to redesigned microlenses. Video recording will go up to 4K 60FPS and 1080p 240 FPS.

There will also be an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera and a 2MP sensor.

There have been conflicting reports on the phone’s chipset. Some leaks have hinted at a Snapdragon chip while others believe that it will feature a MediaTek SoC. This will likely be confirmed through benchmarks in the upcoming weeks.

Since the Redmi 10 has already been certified, it will not be long before more information shows up in the form of leaks and teasers. We also expect to see an official announcement soon.
