Chinese phone maker Tecno has announced one of its cheapest smartphones yet. The Tecno Pop 5P has been launched in Nigeria for only $107 and should be arriving at other markets soon.

The Tecno Pop 5P is entirely made out of plastic with a similar design to its predecessor. The display is a 6.52-inch LCD panel with 720p resolution, a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, and thick surrounding bezels.
There is a physical fingerprint sensor on the rear panel near the dual camera setup.
The phone is powered by an unspecified chipset, but it brings a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage that can be expanded further with a microSD card.
There is no mention of software either, but it is likely the Android 10 Go Edition.
The minimalist camera setup on the back includes a duo of 5MP sensors, while the waterdrop notch front camera is an 8MP shooter. Both of these cameras are capable of recording HD videos at 30 FPS.
The battery capacity has been upgraded to 5,000 mAh, but there is still no support for fast charging. The dated microUSB port has not been changed either.
