The Federal Ombudsman, Syed Tahir Shahbaz, has ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to digitize its record by 30 September.
Chairing a meeting to review the progress of CDA’s projects, Syed Tahir Shahbaz directed the CDA to provide an access road to Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) Bhara Kahu Scheme on a priority basis.

The Federal Ombudsman asked Chairman CDA, Amir Ali Ahmed, to take strict measures to ensure the completion of all codes and other formalities before approving new housing schemes in Islamabad, either government or private.
Briefing the committee, Chairman CDA said that the entire system of the CDA is being digitized in order to effectively serve the citizens of the capital. A one-window facilitation desk has also been set up in G-7 to facilitate the citizens.
Chairman CDA said that over 2000 flats are under construction in the I-15 sector. The construction of CAT-I flats has been completed and the development of CAT-II flats is 70% completed while the possession of these flats will start in December.

He informed that CDA has started development work in sectors C-15, E-12, and I-12. The construction of Margalla Highway has also been launched, which will connect the GT Road and Motorway M-1. The work on the IJP Road bypass and Bara Kahu bypass has been initiated as well.
Chairman CDA said that construction of Rawal Dam Chowk interchange and 7th Avenue interchange has been started while PWD interchange is near completion which will be opened for public in the coming months.
