Apply Now for the First-Ever Program on AI and ML for Pakistani Startups

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have transformed the way businesses and industries work, including healthcare, education, agriculture, financial services, e-commerce, cybersecurity, marketing, etc.

In Pakistan, there is an increasing number of government interventions to promote tech entrepreneurship and emerging technologies, ranging from the establishment of incubators to skills enhancement programs, funding, and ease of doing business.

With the onset of digital technology, AI/ML is on top of every startup’s mind but there is a lack of resources to learn, adapt and implement the use case in production.

To this end, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Epiphany are co-organizing “AI/ML Reactor”, the first AI/ML startup accelerator program in Pakistan. It is a 5-week virtual, free-of-cost, mentorship program aimed at driving AI/ML awareness in fast-growing Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.

AI/ML Reactor’s objective is to empower selected startups to transform their business via AI/ML implementation, through a series of exclusive workshops, masterclasses, and mentorship with experts and thought leaders from AWS and the tech ecosystem.

The program is open to startups at all stages of their development. Moreover, applicants do not need to have a business model based on AI/ML and prior experience in AI/ML. We welcome startups focusing on any verticals that are interested to implement AI/ML in specific use cases to take their venture to the next level. The AWS experts will support them during this journey.

Shortlisted startups will access exclusive workshops, immersion days, and mentorship from AI/ML specialists, technical experts from AWS, and leading startups and develop/refine and deploy their use cases. They will also participate in Demo Days and receive candid feedback from successful tech founders, experts and investors.

Besides this, top-performing startups will receive cash prizes, exclusive swags, AWS credits (subject to AWS promotional credit terms and conditions), and benefit from international visibility.

The program, curated with the support of leading AI/ML practitioners, champions of Pakistan’s entrepreneurial eco-system and startups, boasts of well-known names from Pakistan and abroad.

The line-up of speakers, mentors, and judges includes personalities like Jehan Ara – CEO Katalyst Labs; Aatif Awan – Founder, Indus Valley Capital; and Faisal Aftab – Co-Founder & Managing Partner Bitrate Venture Capital.

Othe eminent speakers include Misbah Naqvi – GP & Co-Founder, i2i Ventures, Frank Ang – Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, Denning Tan – Startup Lead at AWS ASEAN Ecosystem, Dr. Bernard Leong, Head Of Machine Learning And Artificial Intelligence, ASEAN at AWS, and Nicha Suebwonglee – Venture Capital Business Development Manager, Thailand/Philippines/ASEAN at AWS.
