Realme GT Neo 2 Shows Up with Renders and Specs, SD870 and 120Hz AMOLED

Realme GT series is not coming to an end anytime soon as we are now about to get the 6th phone in the lineup, GT Neo 2. As the name says, it is going to be an update over the Realme GT Neo with mostly the same specifications, but a better chipset and battery.

OnLeaks and Digit.in have shared CAD renders for the GT Neo 2 that gives us a good look at the device.

The phone looks different from its siblings thanks to an updated camera design. The larger camera lenses have a gap in between and the smaller sensor has been moved to the side, right below the LED flash. This design seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 9 series.

The GT Neo 2 is expected to come with a flat 6.62” AMOLED display featuring 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 1200 SoC will be replaced by the Snapdragon 870, which is slightly faster. The base memory configuration will be 8GB/128GB, but there will be more options at launch.

The camera configuration is expected to be no different from the rest of the GT phones. This includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP depth helper. The punch-hole selfie camera should be a 16MP shooter.

The battery will be the biggest so far in any GT series phone. It will be a 5,000 mAh cell (up from 4,500 mAh) with support for 65W super-fast charging.

There is no word on a release date for the GT Neo 2 so far.
