21 Vaccination Centers Set Up for Booster Doses Across Pakistan

The Ministry of Health has started the administration of booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines to outbound Pakistan travelers from today.

In order to facilitate international Pakistani travelers, the Ministry has set up 21 dedicated Coronavirus Vaccination Centers (CVCs) in 17 major cities across Pakistan.

Here are the cities where CVCs have been established to administer additional doses of COVID-19 to outbound travelers.

1 CVC has been set up in Islamabad as well.

International travelers aged 12 years and above with the mandatory requirement of a specific vaccine can get additional doses after showing original valid travel documents and evidence of the intended travel at the CVCs.

Outbound overseas Pakistani workers, students, and residents, and those traveling abroad for business, tourism, and Hajj/Umrah can get booster doses after paying Rs. 1,270 in the National Bank of Pakistan.

Travelers from the above-mentioned categories will also be required to submit photocopies of their original valid travel documents and evidence of the intended travel at the vaccination centers.

While adults will be able to receive the booster doses of Sinopharm, Sinovac, and Pfizer, children aged between 12 and 17 years will only be administered Pfizer as an additional vaccine.
