Tipsters have shared a screenshot of the Chinese Mi Store on Weibo. These screenshots show a mysterious Xiaomi Civi smartphone that will allegedly launch next week on September 27.
The machine translation of the Chinese text says “A natural and beautiful technology conference” which could be hinting towards the phone’s unique design. The image also shows a retail box for the Xiaomi Civic, but it does not give away much.
Previous reports have claimed that Civi will be the Chinese Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, which debuted in the global market last week. It was expected to launch as the Xiaomi CC11 at first, but the company may end up calling it the Xiaomi Civi instead.
We already know that the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It features the Snapdragon 778G SoC with 6/8/12GB RAM options and 128/256/512 GB of native storage. Battery capacity should be 4,250 mAh with 33W fast charging.
There is a 64MP main sensor on the back alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro camera. The cornered punch-hole selfie camera is a 20MP shooter.
It is also possible that the Xiaomi Civi is another device entirely, but there will be no confirmation until Xiaomi reveals any official info.
