Punjab Govt Finds Another Bogus Vaccination Entry Under Nawaz Sharif’s Name

The Punjab Health Department has identified another fake vaccination entry under the name of former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.

The entry has been made in the National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) record from a Narowal school. It suggests the former premier, who has been in a self-imposed exile in London since November 2019, received his first jab of Sinovac on Sunday, 3 October.

The provincial health department has launched an investigation into the matter and has temporarily halted the vaccination process in the concerned school.

This is the second time within two weeks that a fake entry has been made against Nawaz Sharif’s name.

A similar entry was made from Lahore’s Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital on 22 September. A swift inquiry into the matter had found two employees of the hospital involved in the act.

The following day, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) registered a case against a hospital guard, Abdul Hassan, and a ward attendant, Adil Rafique, for using the login details of vaccinator, Naveed Altaf, to make a fake entry using Nawaz Sharif’s CNIC.

Later, a detailed inquiry found that seven hospital workers were responsible for the scandal.
