The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has allowed individuals associated with the education sector to travel from countries currently facing a travel ban due to coronavirus.
According to an announcement by the Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Authority, faculty members, teachers, students granted scholarships, and other education sector-related individuals can now travel to Saudi Arabia.
Besides, the family members of the people associated with the education sector would also be allowed to travel.
Furthermore, those linked to the technical and vocational institutes are also allowed to travel to the gulf country.
The individuals associated with the education sector will be exempted from quarantine restrictions if they are fully vaccinated. They would have to prove the status of their vaccination at the Tawakkalna app. However, if they have received a single dose of vaccination, they will have to quarantine.
