Woman Injured as Charging Mobile Explodes

A woman in Multan has sustained burns and injuries in a fire caused by an electric shock while she was charging her mobile phone.

According to the police, Sadia Bibi of Shujabad Tehsil was electrocuted and her clothes caught fire as she charged her mobile phone with its charger at home.

The police stated that she was immediately shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Shujabad, where doctors determined her condition to be critical and sent her to Nishtar Hospital.

How to Charge Mobile Phones Safely

It is imperative to take precautions to avoid such incidents, and it is advisable to only charge mobile phones with their original charger or one that was purchased from the mobile phone manufacturer.

Also, avoid overcharging and undercharging your phone, and refrain from leaving it to charge overnight.

Mobile phone batteries are also affected by extreme temperatures, and it is recommended that phones be charged in cool places and out of direct sunlight.
