The Embassy of Pakistan and its consulates general in the United Arab Emirates will observe two holidays on July 16 and 17 in observance of Ashura.
During these two days, corresponding to Muharram 9 and 10, the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai will not provide any services.
It should be noted that the federal government has declared public holidays on July 16 and 17 to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions.
The Pakistan missions in the Gulf countries offer various services, including renewing ID cards, issuing NICOPs, and renewing passports.
