Police Arrest Drone-Using Drug Smugglers in Punjab

In Kot Radha Kishan, Kasur district, police dismantled a gang suspected of using drones to deliver drugs, according to a private news channel.

Police said the gang used drones to transport drugs from one place to another. During a search operation, two suspects were arrested, and over 1 kilogram of drugs and a drone were seized.

The suspects, Nisar and Abdul Majid were caught using drones to supply drugs. In another operation, the police arrested Ramzan alias Jani and Javed, recovering 4 kilograms of hashish from them.

The police have filed cases and are continuing their investigation. Earlier this month, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted seven raids nationwide, recovering 833 kg of drugs and arresting three suspects.

An ANF spokesman stated that 748 grams of ice were seized from a passenger at Bacha Khan International Airport. Another 400 grams of ice were found in a parcel sent to Australia from Rawalpindi.

In Mashakhil, 460 kg of opium was recovered, and another 319 kg was found near Pishin Road, Quetta. In Karachi, 41 kg of ice was seized from a container, and in Hyderabad, 7 kg of hashish was confiscated from a motorcyclist near a railway gate.
