Dr. Muhammad Amjad, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), has assured that the company will provide smooth and uninterrupted power supply during the Ashura days, with comprehensive arrangements in place.
In a statement released on Sunday, Dr. Amjad announced the establishment of Monitoring Control Rooms at the head office and all six Operation Circles. He mentioned that field formations are maintaining close coordination with district administration, administrative committees, and police.
Dr. Amjad stated that the company has gathered information about Imam Bargah locations and potential mourning procession routes. All electrical wires and transformers along these routes have been upgraded and balanced.
