Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali faces a race against time as he grapples with a severe elbow injury that has significantly hindered his performances on the field recently.
The injury, which has troubled him for an extended period, has now reached a critical stage, impacting his ability to even participate in key matches.
Sources within the cricket community have disclosed that Hasan Ali’s elbow condition hampered his ability to complete games during his tenure with Warwickshire County in England. Despite his determined efforts, the pain and discomfort have severely restricted his on-field performance.
In response to this ongoing issue, it has been confirmed that Hasan Ali will now undergo extensive treatment for his elbow injury.
However, this development casts doubt over his availability for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh next month.
Following the Bangladesh series, England is scheduled to visit Pakistan for a three-match Test series in October. The medium pacer’s potential absence raises concerns for Pakistan’s bowling attack in these crucial fixtures.
Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan includes the first Test in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21-25, followed by the second Test in Karachi’s National Bank Arena, from August 30-September 3.
England’s visit will see the first Test in Multan from October 7-11, the second Test in Karachi from October 15-19, and the third Test in Rawalpindi from October 24-28.
Hasan Ali’s fitness and recovery remain pivotal for Pakistan as they will need their premium Test pacer for all the crucial upcoming series this calendar year.
