Baseball United, the first-ever professional baseball league focused on fostering baseball in the Middle East and South Asia, has officially unveiled the dates for its inaugural season.
The historic Season 1 is set to kick off in October 2025, promising an exhilarating baseball calendar in Dubai. All games will be played at Dubai International Stadium, a cricket pitch that Baseball United will transform into a baseball field.
The inaugural season will feature five dynamic teams, including the Karachi Monarchs, Mumbai Cobras, Dubai Wolves, a Riyadh-based franchise, and the Abu Dhabi Falcons.
These teams are poised to ignite a new wave of baseball enthusiasm in the region. Additionally, the Monarchs, named to honor Karachi’s leadership as Pakistan’s industrial, economic, and financial hub, will showcase the city’s deep-rooted passion for baseball.
In conjunction with the season announcement, Baseball United has also revealed two signature events designed to further elevate the sport’s profile in terms of marketing.
Baseball United’s partnership with Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB), established in May 2023 and highlighted its commitment to expanding baseball’s reach.
This collaboration aims to build a robust foundation for the sport, leveraging Pakistan’s rich sports culture to inspire and engage new audiences.
