Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) has reached a major milestone in the Walton Road Upgrade Project by successfully diverting the old ADA Nullah into a newly constructed channel and ensuring the disposal station is operational. This addresses longstanding sewerage issues along Walton Road.
The old ADA Nullah was a significant source of sewerage problems in the Walton Road area. CBD Punjab has tackled this issue, paving the way for a modern sewerage system that can serve up to 1 million residents nearby.
Key figures, including CBD Punjab’s CEO Imran Amin, COO Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, senior PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique, Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, and other PML-N members, as well as officials from NLC Walton Cantonment Board and NESPAK, gathered to celebrate this achievement.
During a visit to the construction site on Walton Road CEO Imran Amin and Khawaja Saad Rafique assessed the project’s progress. Imran Amin highlighted the importance of overcoming the ADA Nullah challenge, stating,
With our commitment to public service, we have surmounted a major obstacle and delivered a modern sewerage solution for Walton Road.
Khawaja Saad Rafique praised CBD Punjab for its efforts, recognizing the project’s positive impact on the community. Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain provided a detailed briefing on the new sewerage system, emphasizing its ability to meet the area’s future needs.

Misleading story only to project PMLN and Khawaja Saad Rafiq, the defeatist candidate of the constituency. I am a resident of Yasrab Colony on the main Walton Road, close to Korey stop and I say with full responsibility that the Naulla has yet to be shifted into the newly built underground drain. This is all propaganda.
I understand that the work is still in progress which will take another month to be complete.
I am also resident of Yasrab Colony Walton Road Lahore and i fully agree with Asif Sohail comment
