After reports surfaced regarding Pakistanis being denied visas for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi has refuted any such restrictions.
The Emirati envoy’s clarification came after reports indicated that residents of Sindh were facing difficulties in acquiring UAE visas.
In a video interview on Monday, the diplomat stated that Pakistani businessmen, workers, and those traveling for medical treatment to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other cities are being provided with all necessary facilities.
Dr. Remeithi emphasized the strong cultural, religious, and trade relations between the Gulf nation and Pakistan, which have spanned over 50 years. “The UAE provides 100% facilities to Pakistani brothers and sisters for obtaining visas.”
However, Dr. Remeithi mentioned that a special awareness program has been launched for individuals traveling to the UAE at the Karachi Consulate. He stressed that travelers should avoid carrying prohibited items and pack their luggage themselves to prevent difficulties.
He also announced that the UAE will launch a new program for the business community on both sides within a few days. Under this program, the UAE consulate will provide comprehensive facilities to aspiring travelers who want to visit the country for business or bring UAE companies to Pakistan.

This is all complete bull shit. I have booked PLAB 1 test in dubai and tried to obtain visa 4 times. Rejected every time without any explanation. Now I ll have to start all over again from scratch because plab dates are really hard to come by.
Many visas have been rejected, including mine.I had applied for a visit visa but despite having a good travel history, my visa was denied. News regarding Pakistanis being involved in 50% of crimes in the UAE, made headlines. The UAE government should compensate cases where visas have been denied on baseless grounds
