Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX: EFERT) has decided to shut down its base plant for maintenance, the company informed the main bourse on Tuesday.
“The Base plant of Engro Fertilizers Limited has been shut down for unscheduled maintenance. The tentative duration of this forced outage will be around 5 days. The Company has commenced necessary maintenance activities after which the Base Plant is expected to resume operation by 10th August,” the stock filing stated.
EFERT is engaged in the manufacturing, purchasing and marketing of fertilizers, seeds and pesticides and providing logistics services.
At the time of filing, the company’s scrip at the bourse was Rs. 171.1, down 0.03 percent or Rs. 0.05 with over 509,000 shares on Tuesday.
