Infinix Quietly Launches Its First-Ever Tablet With 4G Support for Cheap

Infinix has quietly launched its first tablet to date dubbed the Xpad. Although the company has not revealed a price tag yet, it is safe to assume the Xpad is going to be a highly affordable tablet given its budget specifications and Infinix’s track record of high value-for-money products.

Infinix Xpad is official with an 11'' display and LTE chipset

The Infinix Xpad is equipped with a Helio G99 chipset featuring a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU, a commonly used processor among Transsion brands, powering nearly two dozen LTE-only devices. Infinix has incorporated an XArena Game Space with three adjustable power modes to optimize the Arm-G57 MC2 GPU for gaming performance.

The device boasts an 11-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution. The slim bezels contribute to an 83% screen-to-body ratio, while the display offers a brightness of 440 nits. The Xpad features a metal unibody design and includes an 8 MP camera on the front and rear.

Infinix has joined the AI trend with the introduction of Folax, a ChatGPT-powered voice assistant, on the Xpad tablet. The device aims to enhance multimedia experiences through its quad-speaker system.

Powered by a 7,000 mAh battery with 18W wired charging, the Xpad offers approximately 50% charge in 40 minutes. The tablet is available in three colors: blue, black, and gold, with RAM options of 4 GB or 8 GB and storage capacities of 128GB or 256 GB.

Specific memory configurations and pricing details have yet to be announced, with availability varying by market.
