Master Changan Motors Limited has officially launched its highly anticipated Deepal electric vehicle lineup in Pakistan. This marks a significant milestone as the company introduces two models: the Deepal L07 sedan and the Deepal S07 SUV. These vehicles were unveiled at a grand event held at Dolmen Mall Clifton in Karachi, bringing the electric vehicle (EV) revolution closer to Pakistani consumers.
Our Early Predictions: How Did They Hold Up?
A few weeks ago, we reported on the anticipated prices for the Deepal L07 sedan and the Deepal S07 SUV. At that time, we speculated that the L07 would be priced at Rs. 15,500,000, and the S07 SUV would cost around Rs. 16,500,000.
As it turns out, our predictions were spot on. The official prices have now been confirmed at Rs. 15.5 million for the L07 and Rs. 16.5 million for the S07.
Pre-Booking
Pre-bookings for these cutting-edge EVs are now open, with a booking price of Rs. 3,000,000.
Deliveries are expected to commence by October this year, with Master Changan Motors Limited gearing up for an extensive rollout.
Additionally, the company has announced an investment of $50 million across the entire EV value chain, including the establishment of a comprehensive charging infrastructure throughout Pakistan.
CKD Manufacturing
Master Changan Motors has revealed that Completely Knocked Down (CKD) manufacturing for these vehicles could begin within the next eight to ten months.
