Technical Issues at Karachi Airport Result in Flight Cancellations

Technical and operational disruptions at Karachi Airport led to the cancellation of several flights on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, Serene Air’s flights ER502 to Islamabad and ER522 to Lahore have been canceled. In addition, AirSial’s flights PF143 and PF145, also heading to Lahore, are not operating.

The cancellations are attributed to unforeseen technical issues and operational challenges. Passengers scheduled to fly on these flights are advised to contact their airlines for rescheduling or alternative travel options.

In separate news, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has introduced new measures at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. These measures require passengers and airport staff to wear face masks, use hand sanitizers, and ensure that all luggage is thoroughly disinfected.

Furthermore, any passengers displaying symptoms will be isolated according to guidelines from Border Health Services. The CAA has mandated that airlines distribute face masks to all passengers and enforce mask-wearing for international airline staff and ground handling personnel at all times.
