HMD’s Barbie Phone is Here With Charms and Stickers

After much anticipation, HMD has unveiled its Barbie-themed flip phone. The device, a stylish take on the Nokia 2660 Flip, boasts a bold pink design and several software tweaks.

Staying true to its Barbie inspiration, the phone has a pink removable 1,450 mAh battery, a matching pink USB-C cable, and a pink polishing cloth. Additional accessories include two interchangeable back covers, a beaded phone strap, attachable charms, and Barbie stickers.

The HMD Barbie Phone features a 2.8-inch main screen and a 1.77-inch cover screen. Powered by a Unisoc T107 chipset, the phone comes with 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot. It includes a 0.3MP VGA camera, Bluetooth 5 connectivity, a headphone jack, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

In most markets, the phone runs on the S30+ operating system. However, the US version will utilize the KaiOS operating system instead. HMD has also incorporated Barbie-themed customizations into the phone’s user interface, including unique icons, wallpapers, and ringtones. Additionally, the phone features a digital well-being tip, a dedicated Barbie Meditation app, and self-care reminders.

The HMD Barbie Phone has a starting price of $129 and is available in most parts of the world.
