Sindh Education Minister’s Phone Number Got Hacked

The personal mobile phone number of Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has reportedly been hacked.

Confirming the incident, a spokesperson stated that the mobile number of Provincial Minister Sardar Ali Shah was hijacked. There is currently no information on who these hackers are or what their motive is. However, the spokesperson confirmed that the phone number had been taken over using modern technology.

While some speculate that Indian hackers or attackers from some other country are behind this, it is quite possible that the breach was caused by a local bad actor for unknown purposes.

In related news, Bahawalpur’s MPA Syed Amir Ali Shah fell for a scam call over the weekend. The caller convinced the MPA representing Bahawalpur’s PP-250 constituency that the development projects in his area had been approved. The scammer asked for an immediate payment to secure the funds for these projects, to which the MPA obliged, losing over Rs. 600,000.

Following the transaction, MPA Shah realized he had been deceived and promptly reported the crime to the authorities. Police in Uch Sharif are currently investigating the incident.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the increasing sophistication of online scams. Fraudsters are employing increasingly convincing tactics to deceive even tech-savvy individuals. Authorities are actively working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators while emphasizing the importance of public awareness and vigilance in combating such crimes.
