Government Confirms Public Holiday for Eid Milad-un-Nabi

The federal government has declared a public holiday on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in honor of the 12th Rabi’ul-Awwal, marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

This day is observed to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a significant occasion for Muslims. According to an official notification issued by the Cabinet Division, all government offices, educational institutions, and banks will remain closed on this day.
