Suzuki to Introduce Every in Pakistan Soon

For the past three years, there have been repeated claims that Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is preparing to launch the locally assembled “Suzuki Every.” Each year, these reports have turned out to be false.

Initially expected in 2022, the launch was then anticipated for late 2023 or early 2024, but these predictions have also not materialized. Now, as 2024 approaches its end, new reports suggest that PSMC might finally introduce the Suzuki Every in the coming weeks.

An internal event is expected this month, potentially involving dealers, with an official launch of the mini MPV slated for the second week of October.

The Suzuki Every is set to replace the long-standing Bolan, a vehicle that has dominated the market for years. This change comes in response to a Lahore High Court ruling requiring the Engineering Development Board (EDB) to ensure all vehicles include airbags. Although the deadline for compliance was extended to mid-2023, the Bolan continues to be sold without airbags.

According to an EDB official, airbags will become mandatory for all cars by mid-2024, meaning models like the Suzuki Bolan will soon be discontinued. As a result, the Suzuki Every is expected to take its place, though details about the exact model or generation remain unclear.
