The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has continued its crackdown on illegal housing schemes, land subdivisions, and unauthorized occupation of public utility sites in approved societies across Lahore.
The LDA’s Private Housing Schemes Directorate demolished infrastructure related to three illegal housing schemes and land subdivisions on Multan Road and Ferozepur Road. This included the demolition of roads and sewerage systems at Amjad Homes and an illegal land subdivision on Multan Road, as well as Central Squire on Ferozepur Road. Additionally, the LDA sealed the office of the Revenue Employees Co-Operative Housing Society.
LDA teams also reclaimed public utility and park areas in Venus Housing Scheme, Pak Arab, and Gulshan-e-Ehbab Phase-II and Phase-III.
Asadullah Cheema, Director of Private Housing Schemes, oversaw the operation, which was conducted with support from the police and heavy machinery. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has instructed that these rigorous operations against illegal housing schemes and land subdivisions in Lahore continue without exception.
