The Metro Bus service in Lahore was suspended on Wednesday following a technical malfunction at Kamahan Station. A bus experienced a breakdown, blocking the track and causing a complete halt to the service.
According to local reports, the disruption has significantly affected commuters, many of whom were forced to exit the buses and find alternative transportation. This has resulted in overcrowding at nearby bus stops as people scrambled for other ways to continue their journeys.
Authorities are currently working to address the issue and restore services. Commuters have been advised to stay updated and plan accordingly as they wait for the situation to return to normal.
Last month, the Lahore metro was suspended for a few hours due to a strike by the employees. However, following the intervention of Assistant Commissioner Model Town Sahibzada Yousaf, the strike was called off.
