Xiaomi has offered an early preview of its upcoming Redmi Note 14 Pro series, which is set to launch in China next week. The company has shared images of the Note 14 Pro+ in a striking Mirror Porcelain White finish, showcasing the device’s key design elements.
The Note 14 Pro+ features a curved display with a punch-hole camera cutout, a design choice that has become increasingly popular in mid-range smartphones. The rear is dominated by a large, ellipse-shaped camera island. This module is protected by a glass element covering three camera lenses and an LED flash. Adding a touch of sophistication, the outer ring of the camera island will sport a textured pattern.
Xiaomi has also provided a glimpse of the standard Note 14 Pro model in two color variants: Phantom Blue and Twilight Purple. While these devices share the curved screen and punch-hole design of their Plus counterpart, there’s a notable difference in the camera setup. The Note 14 Pro’s camera island, while similar in shape, lacks the glass dome covering the lenses seen on the Pro+ model.
Xiaomi has confirmed that both models in the Redmi Note 14 Pro series will feature significant upgrades in durability and longevity. The devices are set to offer improved shock resistance and enhanced waterproofing, addressing common concerns about smartphone durability.
The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, promising robust performance for a mid-range device. Camera enthusiasts may be pleased by the rumored 50MP main camera, while the reported 90W charging capability could set a new standard for fast charging in this price segment.
Xiaomi has not confirmed the specific day this phone will launch, but it should not be long before it is revealed.
