Kylian Mbappe Confident to Make a Return For El Classico Next Month

Real Madrid’s star forward, Kylian Mbappe, is gearing up for a highly anticipated return to the pitch in the upcoming El Clasico against Barcelona, following a brief injury setback.

The French sensation had to exit the field during Tuesday’s match against Alaves due to discomfort, raising concerns among fans and teammates alike.

Despite his early departure, Real Madrid secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Alaves, with Coach Carlo Ancelotti later describing Mbappe’s issue as a minor “knock.”

In a post-match interview, Ancelotti reassured supporters, stating, “Mbappe asked to be substituted to avoid any problems.” Subsequent medical evaluations revealed that Mbappe sustained an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg.

According to sources, the injury is expected to sideline him for approximately three weeks, causing him to miss crucial fixtures against Lille in the Champions League and Villarreal in La Liga, as well as the international break with France. Despite this setback, Mbappe remains determined to return stronger.

Reports from Marca suggest that the former Paris Saint-Germain star is targeting a comeback against Celta Vigo on October 19. However, his primary focus is to be in peak condition for the monumental clash against Barcelona on October 26.

This match, the first El Clasico of the season, is set to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu and is considered one of the most significant fixtures in the football calendar.

Mbappe’s return, hoping he will play a pivotal role in what promises to be an electrifying encounter.
