Galaxy Fold 6 Special Edition is Coming, Release Date and Specs leaked.

Rumors originally suggested that Samsung would launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition on September 25. However, new details have surfaced from a Korean retailer, providing insights into the release timeline.

According to leakster Evan Blass, Samsung will officially call its upcoming foldable device the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. This contradicts previous rumors about names like Galaxy Z Fold Slim or Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. The device aims to rival other foldables such as the Honor Magic V3 and Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, although it will not achieve their slim profiles. Still, it’s the slimmest foldable Samsung has produced so far.

Afterward, the retailer leaked pre-orders and release information for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. It’s not called the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition as previously expected. This raises questions about whether the name is a typo, the official title, or just a mistake. Unfortunately, the page containing this information is no longer accessible.

According to the leaked information, pre-orders for the device in Korea will begin on October 18 and close on October 24. The official release date is set for October 25. It’s possible the earlier September 25 leak was correct, but it may have been off by a month.

If the leaks are accurate, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will feature an 8-inch internal folding screen, a 6.5-inch cover display, and a 200MP main camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 6, which launched in July, is thicker than the expected slimmed-down version, which measures 10.6mm when folded.

Sadly, rumors indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will be exclusive to Korea and China, leaving many fans wondering about Samsung’s global strategy for this device.
