Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Teardown Shows a Bigger Vapor Chamber [Video]

Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 FE last week, offering several significant upgrades. The phone now features a larger 6.7-inch display, compared to last year’s 6.4-inch screen. The powerful Exynos 2400e processor, paired with a vapor chamber that’s 1.1 times larger should help with cooling

The battery capacity has increased from 4,500 mAh to 4,700 mAh, providing better endurance. Internally, the design remains similar to the Galaxy S23 FE. After removing the glass back, a heat spreader covers the new Exynos 2400e chipset. This replaces the Exynos 2200/Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 used in the Galaxy S23 FE. Samsung has also added graphite film and thermal paste to further enhance heat dissipation.

Beneath the pieces lies the upgraded battery, hosting a typical capacity of 4,700 mAh. After removing the battery and pull tabs, you can see the larger vapor chamber visible in the video. It is 10% bigger than the one found in the S23 FE.

While the score highlights minor concerns about design and screen replacement, Samsung has committed to supporting the phone with parts for up to seven years. Although the S24 series is not yet part of Samsung’s self-repair program, it typically takes about a year for the service to include new devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is not available in Pakistan as of yet but is set to arrive in November for a price of Rs. 224,900.
