FBR Bars Staff From Giving Consultancy Services Within Office Premises

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has barred its staff from providing tax-related consultancy services within the office premises.

The corporate tax office, in Islamabad, has issued a notice regarding the prohibition of Consultancy Services within the Office Premises.

The notice stated, “It has come to the attention that certain individuals are providing consultancy services during office hours within the office premises, which is against the office policies in compliance with the directives of the CCIR, CTO, Islamabad, it is hereby ordered that no employee shall engage in any form of consultancy service within the office premises.”

Any employee found violating this directive will face strict disciplinary proceedings as per the relevant rules and regulations, it added.

This order must be followed by all officers/officials without exception. Immediate compliance is expected, and any breach of this directive will not be tolerated.

All Officers/Officials BS-01-16, including Time Scale 17, are required to sign the attached sheet to acknowledge their understanding and compliance with this order.
