Apple Intelligence Confirmed to Reach iPhones on October 28

Apple launched iOS 18 last month without its much-anticipated Apple Intelligence features. Now, users are eagerly waiting for the iOS 18.1 update, set to release on October 28th.

This update will introduce the first ripple of Apple Intelligence features, though not all the abilities shown at June’s developer conference will be included. Many of those features have been stalled until 2025.

In addition to iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 is also expected to launch on the same date, adding to the hype. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is taking its time to guarantee a smooth rollout, knowing users will quickly test the new features, overloading the servers.

Apple Intelligence could finally arrive on October 28, new hardware on November 1

Apple is also gearing up for major hardware launches. On November 1, the company is expected to release several new devices. These include a lower-end 14″ MacBook Pro with the M4 chip, high-end 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros, and an updated Mac mini. A refreshed iMac and a new iPad mini are also rumored to be part of this lineup.

The official announcement for these products will likely come in late October, just before their release.

Looking further ahead, Apple has a packed 2025 planned. The company is set to launch 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air models with M4 chips, an updated iPhone SE 4, new iPad Air models with Magic Keyboards, and an upgraded AirTag.

Apple fans can expect a thrilling few weeks with the release of iOS 18.1 and new hardware, as well as major launches planned for next year.
