Apple’s AI-Powered Siri Could Arrive Sooner than Anticipated

Apple unveiled its newer and more powerful version of Siri with the iPhone 16 series, but it is coming later on. This was a disappointment for Apple fans as they were expecting the new and improved AI-powered Siri to launch alongside the new iPhones.

Users were told that the AI-powered Siri would be launched in March 2025 once iOS 18.4 arrives, but as per the latest news by Mark Gurman, it is anticipated that the AI assistant will be rolled out earlier in the iOS 18.3 update which is going to roll out in January 2025.

Apple has already released the beta version of iOS 18.1 and it has a few Apple Intelligence Features like AI-generated summaries for unread messages, a Writing Tool in the Notes app, and an additional Control Centre option. The stable release is rumored to be released in October 2024 with iOS 18.2 following in December 2024.

The most exciting AI features showcased during Apple’s WWDC 2024 and the iPhone 16 series launch event are expected to be market-ready in Q1 2025 with iOS 18.4 bringing the Siri AI assistant. There are still more features to come in future updates, but this is probably the most anticipated feature by Apple fans.

It is not certain yet that Apple will roll out the updates sooner than before, but there still is a slight possibility that Apple will end up treating its users to AI features sooner than they announced. All we can do now is wait for future updates.
