Ex-Pakistan Captain Extremely Disappointed With Pakistan Cricket

Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez has expressed his disappointment regarding the national team’s difficulties in the ongoing first Test match against England in Multan.

In a tweet, Hafeez criticized the team’s strategy and indicated that England holds a strong advantage for a potential win.

Irrespective of provided conditions at Multan stadium, England team is on driving seat having more chances to win due to positive intent & better game plans. On same pitch if batting equal no of overs England team will have 175+ runs to play for win. Team Pakistan can only play for draw or heading towards an other home ground defeat.

The former all-rounder emphasized England’s positive mindset and effective game plan, claiming that the visitors are well-positioned to take a substantial lead in the match. Hafeez also raised concerns about Pakistan’s chances of salvaging a draw or avoiding another defeat on home ground.

It’s important to note that the Three Lions are currently dominating the first Test against Pakistan in Multan, leading by 115 runs at stumps on the fourth day after declaring at 823 for 7, with Joe Root and Harry Brook contributing to the total with titanic scores of 262 and 317 respectively.

In response, Pakistan are already 6 down with only 152 runs on the board. Shan Masood, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan all went cheaply, with Salman Ali Agha, currently at 41, providing a defiant innings.
