Alongside the hardware upgrade, Oppo is set to introduce ColorOS 15, its latest user interface based on Android 15. This new software iteration promises to enhance the user experience significantly. Oppo has described ColorOS 15 as featuring an innovative three-layer interface design, aimed at boosting efficiency, fluidity, and overall performance.

During the announcement, Oppo showcased the capabilities of ColorOS 15 with an on-stage demonstration. The presentation highlighted the interface’s ultra-smooth and rapid responsiveness.  It’s worth noting that ColorOS 15 will not be limited to the Find X8 series. It will also be featured on the Chinese versions of the OnePlus 13 smartphone.

Find X8 Ultra and Find N5

The Find X8 launch will include the vanilla X8 and the X8 Pro, but not the X8 Ultra. The top dog flagship is rumored to join the lineup in the first quarter of 2025, meaning somewhere between January and March.

During that time, Oppo is also expected to unveil its next foldable phone, the Find N5. This is a successor to the Find N3 since the number 4 is considered bad luck in China. Hence, there is no Find N4 at all. It may be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
