Sindh Government Lifts Ban on Jobs Under Deceased Quota

The Sindh government is lifting the employment ban under the deceased quota policy, a move expected to provide much-needed relief to families of deceased government employees and aspiring job seekers.

The decision comes after months of uncertainty, following a temporary halt on recruitment under this policy imposed by the caretaker government.

An official order from the Sindh Law Department has confirmed the restoration of the policy, stating that all recruitment processes under the deceased quota will now proceed on merit-based criteria.

This policy is designed to offer employment to the family members of government employees who pass away during their service, ensuring their families get financial support.

Previously, the recruitment process under this policy had been stalled, affecting thousands of applicants whose employment was delayed due to the ban. The Sindh government has reviewed and revised the deceased quota policy to ensure fairness and transparency in the hiring process.
