The Punjab Government is set to introduce a personalized number plate system for vehicles, pending the approval of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. This initiative, announced by Director General Excise Faisal Fareed, will allow vehicle owners to customize their number plates in one of three categories.
The Corporate category will enable companies to display their names on the plates. In the Platinum category, individuals can feature their name or that of a loved one, while the Gold category will offer the option to include three preferred letters and three digits on the plate.
Director General Faisal Fareed highlighted that any content promoting religious, political, or social hatred will be strictly prohibited on the plates.
For those interested in applying for a personalized number plate, the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department of Punjab can be contacted for the complete application process and further details.
