Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which will bring significant improvements, particularly in its display technology. According to recent reports, this new foldable smartphone will have a less prominent crease, offering users a slicker experience than its predecessors.
Renowned leaker Ice Universe hinted that the device would be “better than ever.” Display technology analyst Ross Young backed this claim, revealing that Samsung will introduce Ultra Foldable Glass (UFG) technology in the upcoming model. This new glass design is expected to enhance durability while minimizing the crease, a common issue in foldable smartphones.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is anticipated to be officially launched on October 25, though it will reportedly only be available in two markets: South Korea and China. This limited-release strategy indicates that Samsung may be targeting specific regions with high demand for foldable devices.
As for the phone’s design, it is expected to share many similarities with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but with a much thinner profile. Rumors suggest that the device will measure just 4.9 mm when unfolded and 10.6 mm when folded, making it slimmer and more portable.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition could feature impressive hardware, including a 200 MP main camera, a 6.5-inch cover display, and a large 8-inch folding screen. These specifications suggest that Samsung aims to provide a high-performance device packed with cutting-edge features, appealing to tech enthusiasts and those looking for the latest in foldable technology.
