The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to remove 15 domestic-level coaches from their posts after a string of poor results.
The board has reportedly decided not to disclose the names of people involved to the general public.
PCB took the decision back in April after suggestions from its Evaluation Committee which featured PCB officials including Director Domestic Cricket Abdullah Khurram Niazi and the department’s senior general manager Junaid Zia.
Former international cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, and Asad Shafiq were also part of the deciding team.
PCB has already installed interim coaches in the role for the concerned regional teams as the Domestic season for the year 2024/25 is already underway with permanent appointments set to be made in due time.
