The Bangla Tigers have announced the appointment of former Pakistan Cricket Team Younis Khan as their head coach ahead of the eighth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League.
The team announced the decision with excitement, stating, “New Head Coach Alert! Bangla Tigers is honored to introduce Legend Younis Khan as the Head Coach for Abu Dhabi T10 Season 8. Amidst the desert storm, The Bench Boss is ready to bring a sense of calm to the dressing room. Gear up for an exciting season ahead!”
Younis Khan will be tasked with overseeing the dressing room that includes seasoned players including Rashid Khan, Liam Livingstone, Shakib Al Hasan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Dinesh Karthik, hoping that the 2009 T20 World Cup winning captain, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the franchise as they gear up for the upcoming season.
The 53-year-old has had brief coaching stints with the Pakistan national side and the Afghanistan cricket team.
The tournament will take place from November 21 to December 2, with fans eagerly anticipating what Younis Khan’s influence will bring to the Bangla Tigers in their pursuit of glory. A sizeable contingent of Pakistani players is expected to take part in the championship with shuffling of names always an option.
