Following the end of an eventful second day of the deciding test between Pakistan and England, Star Spinner Sajid Khan has revealed that he and the vice-captain Saud Shakeel were utilising a carefully planned communications strategy to confuse the English bowler, while the pair were at the crease.
Speaking to Urooj Mumtaz in an interview following stumps on the second day, Sajid revealed that the vice-captain, who finished with a solid knock of 134 runs off 223 balls in the first innings, would deliberately and loudly tell Sajid to go for singles and doubles when the plan for Sajid was actually quite the opposite, aka to go all guns blazing.

This shrewd display of strategy was but one of many key contributions by both Saud Shakeel and Sajid Khan. The two combined for a not only crucial but also quickfire 72 run partnership of 78 balls, with Sajid finishing not out with a run ball 48, smashing four sixes.
