New Zealand earned a shocking series win over India to add plenty of intrigue to the World Test Championship (WTC) table.
Mitchell Santner was the hero for his side once again, taking 13 wickets across two innings to help his side notch a famous 113-run win. Before this squad, the Kiwis had not beaten India in a bilateral Test series on their turf. With the series already in the bag, the visitors can look to do the impossible and sweep the series, boosting its chances of adding another WTC Title to its name.
India, meanwhile, continues to sit at the top of the table, but now needs to keep a little look over its shoulders especially with an important series against Australia coming up. As the WTC Final draws near the intrigue surrounding the teams continues to rise with each passing game.
