Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced four different squads for their tour of Australia and Zimbabwe. While the squads for both ODIs and T20Is have been announced, PCB has not revealed the captain for the white-ball tours yet.
It is expected that the white-ball captain will be announced by thePCB chairman himself in a press conference today.
For Pakistan’s ODI series against Australia, which is scheduled to commence on 4 November, the PCB selection committee has recalled the trio of Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah, who were recently dropped from the Test series against England.
Pacer, Mohammad Hasnain has made his long-awaited comeback to the squad along with call-ups for Arafat Minhas, Irfan Khan Niazi and Faisal Akram.
Jahnadad Khan, Omair bin Yousuf and Sufyan Muqeem have also been called up to the T20 side for the series Downunder. Similarly, the likes of Ahmed Danyal, Qasim Akram and Tayyab Tahir have been called up to the T20 side for the series against Zimbabwe.
The likes of Shadab Khan, Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq have been dropped from the side while the explosive opener, Fakhar Zaman was unavailable for the tours due to fitness issues.
