Salman Ali Agha Continues to Rise in ICC Rankings

Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha’s continuous form with the bat has helped him gate-crash the top 15 rankings for batters in test cricket for the first time. Salman played a crucial role with several important knocks in the recently concluded test series against England to help his side earn their first test series at home in over three years.

For his continued excellence with the bat, he was rewarded with the vice-captaincy of the team heading for Australia while he will deputize for Muhammad Rizwan during the series against Zimbabwe. He now sits 14th on the table after rising eight places.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam continued his freefall after being left out of the final two matches against England. He now drops to 19th in the rankings.

Sajid Khan has made the biggest leap for bowlers in test cricket after his spellbinding performances against England. The off-spinner climbs 22 spots to sit 50th while his partner in crime Noman Ali retains his 17th position.

Aamer Jamal, after not bowling a single over in the third test, slips 7 places to the 56th spot.
